Hello there!

What I appreciate most is how accessible and human she makes therapy feel. Almost every session leaves me feeling lighter and clearer. I also admire how Annet shares parts of her own journey when it connects to what I'm going through. It makes the space feel real and relatable, and has changed how I see the role of a therapist.

She has been candid, most importantly, very human with me. I have a relationship with her that's unlike any other in my life, and that's been the best part. She has embraced me in my very element, thereby making me want to embrace myself. I have had multiple discussions, reflections, and everything was always treated with care and respect and kindness. I have felt firsthand, being on the driver seat of this journey- she has always let me decide for myself. Exercising full agency felt shaky, but that's the respect and trust I have felt from her, that now it's easier to take up space in other facets of life. She sees me, and continues to hold faith over me even when it's difficult for me to do so myself.

But a particularly difficult point in my life, I decided to try again and it turned out to be one of the best decisions I've ever made. For over a year and a half, Annet's kindness, understanding, and the effort she puts into meeting me where I am with humor, warmth, and openness has made our sessions an incredibly safe space. She's helped me grow immensely, and many of the positive changes I now take pride in are because she's been there, cheering me on every step of the way. While there are still growing pains, for the first time I feel confident that I can move through them. Good therapists are hard to find, but finding one you're genuinely excited to talk to every week is even rarer.

For weeks and months on she would listen to me as I went on about my fears, my insecurities and stressful situations. Time passed and lo.... I suddenly realised that therapy actually happened. And I became confident that I could handle situations calmly and well. I consider Annet as a blessing that came my way when I needed it the most. And I am grateful for that.
